Abstract
The India Middle East Europe Corridor is a watershed moment in the history of Indian economy. It is an ambitious project which aims to bridge the resource rich Middle East to the developing and economically potent India. The dispute between Israel and Palestine has become a major hindrance to the execution of the India–Middle East–Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC), thus affecting the trade, logistics, and energy routes connectivity in the whole region. The recommendations for the policy front suggest that, in order to make IMEC's future less vulnerable to the ongoing political and security dilemmas in the Middle East, one should concentrate on enhancing the diplomatic presence, increasing the use of alternate trading routes, and setting up joint logistics systems.
